Lindsay has signed a contract with KSSSE AZS PWSZ Gorzów
Wielkopolski in the Polish Womens Basketball League (PLKK). AZS
Gorzow finished third last year in the PLKK standings and is an
automatic qualifier for the preliminary rounds of the Eurocup
'08-09. Lindsay was very happy with the signing of this contract
with AZS Gorgow and maybe it represents the silver lining of not
making the full season roster of the Washington Mystics of the
WNBA. Lindsay looks to be very basketball fit and ready
to perform at a high level. She will leave for Poland in mid
September.

Crawford i Lindsay Taylor. Pierwsza to koszykarka doświadczona na
parkietach Europy, drugiej kibicom specjalnie przedstawiać nie
trzeba, to najskuteczniejsza zawodniczka polskiej ligi w
poprzednim sezonie.

Dwie ostatnie zdobycze KSSSE AZS PWSZ na rynku transferowym to
powinno być znaczące wzmocnienie siły zespołu. Do Gorzowa
przychodzą dwie doświadczone koszykarki. Shala Crawford ma
29 lat, mierzy 193 cm. W ostatnim sezonie zdobywała punkty dla
francuskiego zespołu ESB Lille Metropole (czwarte miejsce w lidze),
który występował w Eurolidze. W 12 meczach koszykarskiej ligi
mistrzów średnio grała po 24 minuty, zdobywała blisko dziewięć
punktów na mecz i notowała średnio ponad pięć zbiórek. Lindsay
Taylor to niewątpliwie gwiazda polskiej ligi. 27-letnia
koszykarka (203 cm wzrostu) miała świetny sezon w barwach Energi
Toruń. Była najskuteczniejszą koszykarką FGE - zdobywała 17
punktów na mecz. Znalazła się na czele klasyfikacji evaluation -
22 punkty. Taylor świetnie grała także na tablicach - ze średnią
10 zbiórek zajęła drugie miejsce w lidze, lepsza była tylko
Jennifer Humphrey z ŁKS.

Goodness
What
a thriller.
For anyone that likes exciting games they
should have enjoyed that one with Cincinnati. For myself that was
too exciting, but we finally pulled it off with Christian Manns three
pointer and some fancy footwork at the end of overtime. Lindsay
Taylor played a wonderful game with 23 points, sixteen rebounds and six
blocks. Playing 42 minutes was great because it seems to me Lindsay does
best when she gets warmed up, of course most players do. So I do feel
the girls redeemed themselves for now. If they can just beat Purdue
Friday. We will all be holding our breath for them while the team will
relax and take deep breaths and play the life out of Purdue.
When they get back Lindsay plans on going home for Christmas then back
to Santa Barbara for more exciting games in the Thunderdome. I will miss
her at Christmas but I am happy she can go home for a few days.
The team's friends at Garden Court are looking
forward to Sandy Smith bringing them to some of the games in the Van.
Bill Taylor, Lindsay's father, mother and
little brother will be in Santa Barbara for a week to see all the games
at the Thunderdome. That will make Lindsay and I very happy. Ron Taylor,
Lindsay's uncle drives down from West L.A. each game and drives back
that night, I like that of course then I can always ride to the games
with him.
So go Gauchos, we are looking forward to the
